This has helped tremendously charting our cross-country trip. But, along with google maps as a companion it works out just fine. The format lacks a little; ie. the addresses of the RV campgounds are not included. Even though it is the 2008 issue we don't think much would change. The price is right.
I have used this book for years. I order the new edition every year and every year it gets better. A great resource to have when on the road, enabling you to call ahead and reserve a spot to spend the night or week.
Haven't used the book yet but intend to do so when we plan our next trip. It seems to be very comprehensive and I'm sure it will be very helpful. Thanks.
In this day of "who cares", I am happy to say this was a terrific purchase. I ordered, it was delivered, and it was in good shape. What a simple concept.
This directory is HUGE, and filled with adds but I can't imagine setting off on a long trip without it. Calling ahead, or reserving a spot online is such a good idea when you are driving or pulling a large trailer. It really pays to have an idea of what you are getting into before you get there. If you are arriving later in the day to an area you are unfamiliar with this directory is a necessity.
